By practice, fuses are grouped into one or more fuse blocks housed inside the cabin or in one or more Power Distribution Centers (PDC) located under hood (or both). These blocks and PDCs may also contain other electrical components such as relays and circuit breakers.

Familiarization with the layout of fuse blocks and PDCs benefit diagnosing electrical issues and in fact is often the first place checked.
